Welcome to the Bitty Bowdens' page.  If there's new Bitty Bowden news, this is the place to come!  I'm beginning this page specifically for friends and family who want to keep up with what's new in Isaiah, Anna, and Grace's world.

June 2013 - Since the rainy season hasn't come yet, we have experienced some water shortages.  As a result, we often have to haul water into the house to use for cooking, cleaning, and bathing.  Since everyone uses it, everyone has to help pitch in!  Even the smallest member of the family can feel included and important. 
And that, she is!  ;)

Grace helps Daddy get bath-time water.

 

 

May 2013 - Look who keeps getting bigger and bigger!  

A baby and her ball = smiles for all

Is it me, or is she starting to look more like a toddler than a baby?!

 

Isaiah and Anna know how to cool down in extreme heat, and they're bringing their bears along for the ride!

April 20th - Look who LOVES oranges!

Oranges are in season right now in Niger, and they happen to be one of Gracie's favorite snack.  Especially when she gets the whole bowl all to herself!
 

 

April 15th - Occasionally, one of the children will say something that portrays perfectly what they, as missionary children, face in their everyday lives.  Yesterday, we watched an online sermon by Robert Morris, who pastors megachurch, Gateway Church, in Southlake, Texas (thank you, LBC, for the download!).  Isaiah, eyes wide, commented as the camera panned the expansive congregation:

"Wow!  That's a big crowd of people. 

I wonder if they all speak the same language...?"
